They have performed for many famous faces such as Chris Evert, Olivia Newton-John, Donald Trump, Natalie Cole, and are the official band of the 2003 World Series Champion Florida Marlins. They have also been featured every summer and Walt Disney World & Universal Studios Orlando. In April 2004 they performed for the Queen of the Netherlands. With a spectacular front line of three incredible vocalists, HEATWAVE can fill all of your musical needs for every event. Tony, a veteran in the South Florida music scene, has been on tour with Jon Secada, Jessi James, and numerous Latin Orchestras. Tony’s 1^st solo release "Cruzin" was received well in the Miami music scene. This handsome balladeer can make any wedding song sound so romantic and bring, and can bring tears to your eyes. His ability to motivate a crowd is second to none and will have you guests out of their seats and on the dance floor all night long. Grisel has been on tour with Latin sensation Cheyenne, and has released a solo album in Puerto Rico. With a range wider than the Appalachian Mountains, Grisel can rock you one minute and roll you the next. Then there is Tamara. A Chicago soul singer, Tamara has brought the true meaning of "soul" to the HEATWAVE stage. When she gets on the floor and sings, people listen.

A rhythm section that has been compared to Earth, Wind, and Fire, these musicians play for a deeper love of music. Drummer James Cotmon states, "The funk shall set you free, if you let it." A true genius at his craft, James is the backbone of this phenomenal band. Keyboardist and Music Director Yoel Hyman, a veteran of the Tri State Area music scene, has brought his own northern touch to this South Florida group. With his vivacious licks and knowledge of music, he is the cherry atop the sundae that is the groove. Yoel’s debut CD "Ready, Steady, Go" has been received with rave reviews. Bassist Marty Farmer brings the bottom up to the top. With a smooth groove that you can dance to, Marty lays it down so that you can feel the bass all the way from your head to your toes. And, of course, no rhythm section is complete without its guitar. Not only can New Yorker Art Weiss run a party like it was the halftime show at the Super Bowl, but he can also stand tall with the likes of Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, and B.B. King. A truly great man of rhythm, Art lays down a funky riff that can drive s steady ship even in the roughest waters. Topped off with a burning horn section of trumpet and saxophone, "HEATWAVE" has become the talk of the town.
