Bob Lyons played the steel drums for our wedding ceremony and he is fantastic. He is very professional and was right on time and he always responded promptly to any emails or phone calls. He even learned a new song for our wedding at our request!

Bob performed for both our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. He was great to work with, has an excellent song list, and is very passionate about what he does. He's extremely professional, accommodating, and most of all, made the wedding memorable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Bob Lyons provided steel drum ceremony music for our beach wedding in the Florida Keys in May, 2011. Bob is professional, responsive, friendly, and very talented. His musical abilities are fantastic, and his song list is expansive. We asked for a mix of traditional and non-traditional selections for our ceremony music, Bob performed them all perfectly. Many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed the unique sound of the steel drums at our ceremony. We highly recommend Bob Lyons. Karen & Andy

Bob Lyons did such a wonderful job at our wedding, he was by far our favorite part of our wedding! My husband said that Bob's version of canon in D was the reason why he teared up while I was walking down the isle! Bob really made our dream come true...our only problem was that we had to take pictures during cocktail hour and couldn't enjoy his music. He really made an impression on our guests. Bob was talented, reliable, and professional on the day of the wedding. On a day that is crazy and fast-paced, it was a treat to have Bob's chill music during the ceremony. He created the exact feel we were going for. He is worth the money and he is so easy to communicate and work with.

In searching for our beach ceremony music, we came across Bob Lyons' steel drum music through the internet via YouTube searches... we really liked the fact that we could see & hear the services he had to offer. We even brought up his name to our DJ, who also highly recommended Bob. Throughout planning the wedding, Bob was very professional, responsive and flexible. We asked him to perform ceremony music and then at our cocktail hour shortly thereafter and he had no problem with doing so. Overall, we were extremely satisfied and pleased with his services.

Bob provided a great atmosphere for our cocktail hour, definitely added some great island fare to our event. He's a pleasure to work with and was prompt with e-mail responses. I definitely recommend him if you're looking for a beachy/tropical event in south Florida.

Bob was amazing! If you have the opportunity to hire him, do it!! If you watch any of his videos or listen to his music online it just doesn't do him justice. He is the best when it comes to steel drums, and you'll not regret hiring him. He is so worth it!! I got married on a public beach, and when Bob was playing he drew quite a crowd.

I found Bob Lyons on the web and could not be more satisfied. We were not from FL, and really knew no one but we wanted Steel Drum music for the ceremony and cocktail hour. Bob played all the favorites, and even threw in a special request because we are baseball fans. Earl Weaver, Baltimore Orioles was there - and we are Yankee fans (as is Bob). New York, New York was a great hit.

Bob was an hour early and more flexible that I could have asked. The wedding coordinator changed the location of the wedding last minute without informing anyone (including my wife and I). When I was able to let Bob know where we were, he literally ran, dragging his equipment through the sand to setup and perform for us. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for a steel drummer for their wedding. It was the perfect compliment to the sunset beach wedding.

My wife and I were married on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale on April 1st and we were lucky enough to have Bob play for us during the ceremony. Bob was fantastic from the time we first communicated with him, he was very responsive, quick to accommodate and overall a pleasure to deal with. Once we got to the beach for the wedding, Bob was already there waiting for us and setting up. He is an incredible musician and having him playing in the background was just the right touch we were looking for. Bob played the steel drums for our wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour. He was a pleasure to work with and really put me at ease by assuring me that I had absolutely nothing to worry about with the wedding ceremony music because he had it all under control. He was right, and he did a great job! We had a beach wedding and his beautiful steel drum music really set the mood. I received many compliments from my guests on his music and the atmosphere it created. I would definitely recommend steel drum music for your beach or tropical wedding and I would DEFINITELY recommend using Bob Lyons.

We were married on January 15, 2011, in Key Largo, FL. Bob Lyons provided our steel drum music and it was beautiful! Can't imagine the wedding without it. He arrived early and was set up in plenty of time for the wedding, played all our favorite songs, moved close to the site of the reception, unobtrusively, and continued playing. He is a wonderful professional and we highly recommend him! We later ordered his CDs which are available on his web site. Thanks Bob!!!
