Luis was very helpful and responsive to our requests for the ceremony songs. We wish we would have been a little more involved in requesting specific songs/genres for the reception, however, with so much going on so close to the wedding date, it was nearly impossible. Luis did a great job making sure that everyone was dancing and having a good time the entire night. He also provided our lighting for the reception space.

Mr. Bode is a true professional. He was attentive to everyone's needs and played music enjoyed by all. Prior to the event he was very helpful assisting with the proper kind of music for each part of the affair. He has a lovely voice which made the announcements sound professional as well as his dress code and demeanor.

Luis Bode took time with my fiance and I to find out EXACTLY how we would like our reception to flow, and made recommendations to the areas where we weren't sure. He played all the songs that we requested to hear, and made the party so much fun for our guests. Luis was able to keep the flow of the event moving and keeping our guests engaged and happy. He was able to foresee different aspects of what we would need, asked us if we were OK to do it, and everything flowed PERFECTLY. I noticed that even people who were nearby at the resort, but not our guests, were dancing :) My friends, family, and even my in laws were raving about the music at our wedding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

After reading all of the sparkling reviews about Bode Music Service, we decided to book Luis Bode for our wedding reception. All of the amazing things said about him were completely true! Luis was very helpful and responded quickly to my emails during the wedding planning process. (And I was a nervous, out-of-town bride!) We had a guest list that was very diverse in age and I was concerned about appealing to everyone's interests. Luis assured me from the beginning that he could handle it and he was absolutely right. All of our guests (teenagers to thirty-somethings to seniors) had a blast and he even had my grandparents out dancing on the dance floor! Our reception was running very behind schedule, and Luis worked behind the scenes with the photographer and venue to make sure that all of the logistics still went smoothly without me having to worry about a thing. He went above and beyond the call of duty in my book! I highly recommend for any event. He was not only a good DJ, but also professional in his manner and dress, dependable, and very helpful before and during my wedding. He was attentive and courteous to us and to our guests, playing their requests, while playing the type of music we had agreed on. The main reason I would hire him again, and took the time to write this review, is that is someone you want present at a special event when you need calm and helpful people by your side. Good music is an essential ingredient for a successful party and he knew just what to play.

Luis Bode is the consummate professional. He is able to give you a sense of trust from the initial moment you speak with him and he does not disappoint! Bode Music Service will provide you with whatever tunes requested and can assist if you are unsure as to what will work with the crowd. He is flexible and if necessary, he will stay later, which is what happened at my son's wedding. Everyone was having such a great time, that he worked until the hotel needed him to shut down. From a crazy awesome remix of Ke$ha to our last dance of "Like a Prayer" as we jumped in the pool, Luis rocked our wedding all night long. He got everyone up and moving, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor. I would recommend him to anyone!

Luis was very flexible with last minute changes and really came through for us on short notice. He was incredibly professional and helped us have the best wedding possible.

My wedding ROCKED and we owe it all to Luis the DJ! I was a little nervous about the DJ because we never met him before the wedding, but all my nervousness went away as soon as we met him that night. Luis was extremely professional and he just knows how to get a party started and going. Let's just say that people were on the dance floor the WHOLE night! People are still telling us how great the DJ was and what an awesome voice he had :) I recommend Luis to all brides out there--he was awesome!
