Father Lopez married us on May 5, 2012 and we would HIGHLY recommend his services to anyone looking to get married in the South Florida area (or any other area!!). We had the opportunity to meet Father Lopez on several occassions prior to our wedding, and he was able to get to know both of us through those meetings, as well. As a result, his liturgy during our service was personalized and truly heartfelt, making it stand out from the perhaps more "normal" liturgy that occurs when not personalized. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful, and throughout the entire pre-wedding process, Father Lopez was always willing to meet, take phone calls, or respond to emails promptly with any questions or concerns that we had. Our only regret is that with marriage comes a move out of Florida, so we will not have the opportunity to continue to see Father Lopez regularly, but we would definitely recommend him to anyone who is getting married!! Thank you, Father Lopez!!!

Upon meeting Father Luis several weeks before our wedding, my wife and I were amazed by his magnetic ability to immediately connect with people. Within minutes of our first encounter when we met at his church in Coral Gables, my wife and I instantly felt as if we have known Father Luis all our lives. We became excited to know that we could entrust our special day to be officiated by such a special man. On our wedding day, Father Luis delivered a special ceremony as we had hoped and expected. He connected with the audience and captured our love, joy and excitement for not only each other but also our family and friends. Several of our guests commented how they loved Father Luis and kept asking how we managed to find someone with such wonderful energy and passion to marry us. We are grateful to have been able to share with him our special day and look forward to having him be a part of our lives.

I know when I was planning our wedding I really appreciated feedback from other brides about their experiences with the people they worked with. I can honestly recommend Father Luis to help with your wedding. I was planning my wedding from a different state and so communication was strictly through email and phone, and I got a great feeling when I initially spoke with Father Luis. He was always responsive, gave great recommendations, and answered all my questions. To finally meet him the day of the rehearsal was great. Today my family and guest still talk about how nice the ceremony was and what a great job Father Luis did.

Father Luis provided us with a very memorable wedding ceremony. Our wedding ceremony was religious, however Father Luis's readings and sermon made the non religious guests feel comfortable. His sermon revolved around love because on that day thats what it's all about. I recommend Father Luis as an officiant to everyone. My new husband and I also attended his mass in Miami and it's very beautiful. We are headed down there this weekend for Easter Mass.

Father Lopez worked with us to create the wedding ceremony that best refected our faith, our personal journey, and our vision for the future. He was very flexible and helped us at every turn. Our ceremony was warm and lively. W received so many compliments. After the ceremony one guest told me that the officient "made him want to go back to church!" what could be better than that?

Fr. Luis, a bonafide Franciscan monk made our gorgeous garden wedding a spiritual experience - he had the entire congregation in joyful tears! He was delighted to discuss marriage, our ceremony plans and on that day had a gusto that was inspiring. Thank you for such a wonderful ceremony - I wish it had lasted longer, but it will always remain a special memory.
