When we first began planning our wedding in December, we were looking for an officiant who expressed both our unique views about faith. From our first meeting with Cantor Ballard, we knew we had found that person. She made our wedding day truly special. She is a truly unique person that puts love in everything she does. The ceremony was more beautiful than I ever imagined. We are married now and I feel like we got not only a great Officiant, we also now have a great friend.

Cantor Debbi was just wonderful. The ceremony was beautiful - she made it so personal and really captured the essence of Jason and I as individuals and as a couple (and after only a few phone calls to get to know us!). There wasn't a dry eye in the house! Her blessing with the guitar was a really special treat as well. After the ceremony we learned that she had seriously injured her ankle right before the ceremony started on the beach...we had no idea, she held complete composure and did an amazing job! All of our guests were raving about what a beautiful ceremony it was. Thanks Debbi!

The best word to describe Debbi and our ceremony is AMAZING. She is a wonderful person, she took the time to really know us and made our ceremony so personal. Along the way of getting to know each other, we made a friend for life. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone!! She is simply fantastic!!!

Cantor Debbi turned our last day disaster into the best wedding ceremony imaginable! The night before our wedding our Rabbi broke his hip and couldn't perform our ceremony , that was when Cantor Debbi came in and saved our day ! Thank you, thank you, thank you Debbi! My husband and I had two hurdles to jump to get to our wedding day - the first, as an interfaith couple who would be our officiant and the second, as an out of town couple, how would we find them? I spent a long time reaching out to various officiants, including my childhood rabbi, and for a variety of reasons they weren't the right fit. We wanted someone to marry us who thought we were right just the way we are - no need to convert, take classes, etc. Speaking to Debbi it was clear that she was that Officiant. The next concern was would we connect prior to the wedding, so that we felt we knew her and she really knew us. It was important to have someone so intimately involved in our wedding really know us. Debbi made great efforts to do just that, we met every time we came to town, had Skype calls, phone calls and many emails to answer all of our questions. With Debbi's help we were able to plan a ceremony that included our friends and families, and that was beautifully unique to us.

Cantor Ballard was an excellent choice as the Officiant for our wedding. She was very well prepared, flexible to our requests, and took all hiccups along the way in great stride. She created a wonderful, personalized service for us that was just right.

Cantor Debbi Ballard is nothing less than AMAZING!!! Her warm, sincere delivery of my interfaith wedding was beyond my wildest dreams! She made my wedding ceremony so special. The only word that keeps coming back to me from Cantor Debbi Ballard is unbelievable! Our interfaith ceremony was just awesome. Her sincere delivery of the ceremony was commented on by everyone who attended as being one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Cantor Debbi was perfect! I searched far and wide for a jewish officiant to marry me and my husband (he's atheist). I was beginning to feel shunned by my community after I was rudely turned down by several rabbis. Cantor Debbi listened to everything we wanted, accommodated us in different ways, and we am truly blessed to have her in our lives. Thanks to Cantor Debbi, our ceremony was unique to us and really showcased our love for each other. Our guests, who love us, loved how she made everyone feel comfortable in an interfaith ceremony. We could have not asked for a better individual to marry us!

Being an interfaith couple, choosing an officiant was a very daunting task. We had to take into account everyone's religious beliefs, feelings and faith. We came across Debbi and thought that she may be the one to marry us.Once we actually spoke to her, we truly knew that she would be the one.Debbi is extremely passionate about her work. She is very conscientious, caring and has a very strong understanding of what her couples are looking for. Debbi took the time to understand us both as a couple, and then separately as individuals... The result was a MAGNIFICENT performance that not only made all of our guests emotional, but the entire staff at the hotel were tearing up as well (and they see weddings ALL THE TIME!!).Debbi really is a pro. Debbi is such a wonderful person! She's amazing!!! She was informative, helpful, caring and most of all, she delivered what my husband and I wanted for our ceremony! Every bride wants their day to be special and Debbi accomplished that and so much more!!! She even sang during our ceremony! She was just amazing! She is a beautiful person inside and out!!! I would recommend her over and over again!!!

Debbi was amazing! We couldnt have asked for a more perfect ceremony and a better person to perform it. She was able to listen to us and do what we envisioned. She is a warm and caring person - perfect!

I am the mother of the bride, Micha, Cantor Debbie, was beyond great. She truly took the time to get to know Micha and Sam and was able to use their personalities in the service. Everyone felt the love, passion and harmony that Cantor Debbie knew the couple felt for each other. She was outstanding.

Debbi was absolutely amazing!!!! The only reason I did not give 100% all 5 stars was because she became quite busy during the year that we were planning our wedding. Things on her end got a little hectic, therefore she was not always quick to respond and her schedule became really tight...not a bad thing, but I wanted to give an accurate rating.Our guests RAVED about our ceremony and it was only because of her. When do you go to a wedding and even care to listen to the service, let alone remember certain aspects of the service? Pretty much never! Our guests STILL talk about her beautiful voice singing, her unique ring ceremony, and the way she would explain what we were doing and the background of it....We had an interfaith ceremony so my family who was Catholic had no idea why we were standing under the chuppa, what the ketubah was, why we drank out of the kiddush cup....but she explained everything and they were so intrigued!! My parents and both of our families absolutely loved her! She welcomed them into our meetings and made an effort to get to know them. She worked wonderfully with our pastor and he was a little tough to deal with at times....At and after the wedding noone commented on our pastor, but everyone remembered her and told us how wonderful she was. I could probably go on forever about her...she is so friendly, so genuine, has a great sense of humor, makes you feel so comfortable and as if you have known her for years. She will give you advice on ANYTHING you need...like where to get a ketubah (and she even got us a discount), what to write on it, good venues for ceremonies/receptions, anything! I remember sitting at our rehearsal dinner and was asking her about when my fiance and I should speak, what to say, and if I am supposed to speak or if he was....Overall, she was fabulous and I highly recommend her if you want a ceremony that people will remember and a Cantor that you will know for the rest of your life! We'd loved working with her throughout the wedding and miss it already!!

Cantor Ballard was a great part of our wedding. After working with her over a some months, my wife and I got to know her very well. We were so happy she could be part of our special day. Her sparkling personality and enthusiasm was a tremendous addition to our wedding!
