We ordered two specialty cakes for our wedding, and they were fantastic. Both super fun and super delicious!
The staff at Key West Cakes is so much fun to work with! Ava was so attentive to the details of each cake that we traded so many emails that I miss chatting with her!
I also found the prices very reasonable. They were extremely flexible in working within our budget.

My husband and I got married in Key West while our cruise ship was stopped there for just a few hours last month. Key West Cakes was recommended to me by our planner at the Ernest Hemingway Home and they delivered! I am a control freak, and since I wasn't there and couldn't even taste the cakes, I had to trust them. I had flavors in mind (key lime all the way) and one of the guys there talked me out of it, saying the coconut cake with key lime mousse filling would be better. It was amazing! Many people at the wedding said it was the best cake -- not just wedding cake -- they had ever had. We actually did one small topper cake and cupcakes...and the cupcakes were so fun and beautiful. We plan to go back to Key West for our anniversary next year, and I plan to go by and meet the folks who made that delicious cake! If you're getting married in Key West, have Key West Cakes make your cake!

First, I have to say that I wasn't the easiest Bride to work with - I had some special requests that the team not only worked with but made perfect. From the time I met Ava and the team to the day of my wedding, they were great! Good communication, wonderful personalities, and the most delicious cake we have ever tasted! We had a three tiered cake and we could't decide between the white cake with raspberry filling and the key lime cake with the key lime filling and Ava suggested we do 2 tiers of one flavor and one tier of another - what a great idea! We had a bow made out of ribbon that they made look amazing - and that was our cake! Everyone at the wedding told us they not only ate their piece of cake but they were sharing with the person next to them so they could try the other flavor...and if there was an extra piece around...it would disappear within seconds, our guests couldn't get enough (and this was after a big dinner!). Thank you Key West Cakes - we hope to visit in a year for more cake!!!

Absolutely fabulous cake!!! Wonderful staff and always helpful when you need it! WONDERFUL experience and everything was sooooooo good!!! We also ordered Mini Key Lime Pies! Highly recommend those too!

From the beautifully designed cake...to the absolutely delectable cupcakes, Key West Cakes blew me away. They were kind and friendly and listened to every idea I had to offer. The cake and cupcakes were a total hit with my guests and they actually wanted to box up the leftovers to snack on in the hotel! Such a wonderful company...they definitely deserve the recommendation.

I would recommend Key West Cakes to anyone looking for a beautifully decorated, delicious tasting cake. We provided them with a pretty difficult, artistic, detailed cake design and they created it perfectly. It was exactly what we expected. The taste was amazing, we've received many compliments on the design and how incredibly tasty both flavors were. Moist, unique flavors and delicious.

All I can say is "Wow!"
The cake was AMAZING, both in how it looked and tasted. My whole family are cake-lovers and couldn't get enough (which is saying a lot, since they are also picky about what they like). They matched the design I wanted exactly and made it even better.
I seriously wish I lived near this bakery so I could eat their baked good more often (though it's probably good for my waist-line that I don't).
Key West Cakes also was able to make a quick change after we placed our initial order, and were super polite and responsive. Well worth every penny (and it cost a lot of 'em).

Key West Cakes did an amazing job on our wedding cake! The tasting was so much fun and they let us sample all different cake flavors, fillings, and frosting combinations. They were very easy to get int touch with through email. The cake looked fantastic the day of the wedding and tasted even better! I would highly recommend using Key West Cakes!

We had issues with our wedding planner who tried to charge us double what they had originally quoted us. So 2 days before our wedding, we fired them! We found Key West Cakes and told them our story. This was in May, the height of wedding season, so we were worried no one would be able to make us a cake in time. The folks at Key West Cakes were wonderful and agreed to help us. The cake was not only beautiful, it was delicious too! They were so professional and friendly and they even helped us out on the price when we told them what happened with our wedding planner. We couldn't have been happier!

Paul, Steven and Ava were such a pleasure to work with. Not only was the wedding cake beautiful but also all our guests were complimenting how great the cake tastes (and no one ever likes the wedding cake). In addition to the chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling, we ordered key lime tarts so each guest could get a taste of key lime pie while visiting Key West. We also heard great things about the tarts at the wedding. The day of our Casa Marina food tasting, I brought both my husband and father to the Key West Cakes so they could get a little taste (knowing they would not have time for dessert at the wedding). Not only was the Key West Cakes team so friendly, but they also gave us cupcakes and coffee on the house.

The Key Lime cupcakes and Key Lime frosting was really fantastic. I had all my cupcakes "filled", but I don't think they were. The prices they told me over the phone were more expensive than listed inside of the shop. Overall, they were very good, but I was bummed I paid extra to have the cupcakes filled and they weren't.

We ordered cupakes from Key West Cakes for our wedding. We love sweets, as do our families, so we ordered the large cupcakes and several extras. In fact, we still had some over four days after the reception and they are still delicious and moist!
During our tasting, we had a difficult time narrowing down our flavor selections as there were several that were delicious. We decided on the coconut cake with key lime mousse and the chocolate cake with ganache. They were both tasty and the coconut/key lime combo was great for all of our out-of-town guests wanting a taste of the Keys!

I had a vision for our wedding cake and Key West Cakes turned it into something a thousand times more beautiful! They created the most amazing sugar flowers, some of which I saved and still have at the house, just beautiful! The cake itself was delicious (both the very delicate coconut and the white cake) and the chocolate ganache filling - out of this world! We could not have been happier with our cake!
(PS The tasting process was great, and the team was very helpful and responsive).
