Marylen Exposito Weddings

Marylen is amazing. Her recommendations made our wedding spectacular. She consulted us from the beginning, offered us alternatives when are budget changed from flexible to tight without sacrificing quality. Honestly we couldn't of done it without her, she really made the process stress free. She even helped us pick out our apartment, that is above and beyond. The day of she made sure we were fed, relaxed, and prepared. Thank you Marylen!

Marylen was awesome. I forgot to wear my garter and almost had a melt down, but she brought out a garter from her emergency kit. Also, my bussle broke and she brought out a sewing kit to fix it. She's like a wedding day insurance policy!! I highly recommend having a day of planner and highly recommend Marylen!!

Thanks to Marylen Expositio, I had my dream wedding - every little detail was perfect including things that I never would have even thought about. My wedding day was completely carefree. I highly recommend her as a wedding planner and that seems like a massive understatement. She faced serious obstacles - myself included. I spent the summer before the wedding working 8 hours away and was in my third year of law school for the month leading up to the big day. I was very busy, yet super demanding, and made her job hard with my schedule and lack of follow-up on issues. We were also working on a 5 month time frame for a wedding of considerable scale. However, she came through in every way. Specifically, among Marylen's greatest strengths are: (1) Her near Clairvoyant ability to translate her client's general desires into EXACTLY what they want, even when they don't have the perfect vision of what that is. We had one initial meeting regarding flowers and decor where I pulled out some pictures of things I liked and things I hated from wedding magazines like The Knot Florida edition. I told her I liked this, BUT wanted something a little different. I gave her mere adjectives describing my style. When I saw my centerpieces which featured driftwood with dangling candles, covered in beautiful green and white orchids - I could not believe she translated my ideas ("I like natural stuff, driftwood is cool, and terrariums would be great..") into something that I could not have ever imagined. She did EVERYTHING including selecting all the decor, the flowers, and found the best florist who provided what I believe are the most beautiful centerpieces in the world. (2) Her knowledge and experience. Her knowledge of what is out there and familiarity with local vendors was INCREDIBLY helpful. She cautioned me when I wanted something, but she had bad experiences with that vendor or item. She encouraged me to hire someone who turned out to be the best photographer, despite the non stellar appearance of his website. Because of her experience with my venue (Deering Estate) she knew exactly what we needed - down to the kitchen equipment. A week before the wedding when my husband and I decided we wanted to do a choreographed first dance, she found the best instructor who was available during the four hour window we had available. The guests loved it. (3) Her professionalism and tact, even in the face of a demanding, yet unavailable bride and her equally demanding parents. Marylen never seemed frustrated, never chastised me for my lack of responsiveness or timeliness but always made sure to let me know when deadlines were absolute and when she knew I wanted to provide input regarding the decision. She was able to successfully decide minor issues without consulting me and knew when to talk to me about something and when to discuss it with my parents. (4) Her preparation, support, and understanding of my stress lead to a wedding day where I had NOTHING to worry about (except of course my bridesmaids, but they were beyond her control). (5) SHE is great. Marylen is kind, funny, got along with my parents and really understood what I wanted without me having to lay it out. She knew what I would think was tacky without me having to say it. She reminded me to breathe at the right moments. She is the kind of an likable, genuine, caring, compassionate person that any bride should want to work with and have with them on their big day.

Marylen was a great wedding planner. She was our wedding day planner, but had we met her earlier in the process, we would have let her do the whole thing. She already knew almost all of our vendors and when we asked for recommendations, hers were spot on for what we were looking for. On the day of our wedding she was great!!! We didn't have to worry about anything and we just got to enjoy and when there were little hitches, she was there fixing them before we knew they happened. I would highly recommend her.

Wesley and I want to thank you for all that you did leading up to the wedding and the day of. The way you handled everything and were on top of every little detail made that aspect of the wedding less stressful. We knew if it were in your hands everything would be in control and that was a relief. So again, thank you for all that you did and making the whole wedding experience less stressful and more of an enjoyable experience. We will remember it for the rest of our lives. = )

If you actually want to enjoy one of the biggest days in your life, you must hire Marelyn. I spent my wedding day laughing, crying tears of joy, getting beautiful and not worried about a thing. Hiring Marelyn was the best money I spent that day. I didn't have to think of a single detail, speak to a single vendor or worry about a single thing. It was fabulous. Marelyn Exposito was organized, professional, understanding, trust worthy and a delight to work with!!!!

Marylen Exposito is the ultimate wedding planner! She helped me plan the wedding of my dreams! Her ideas and experience in the wedding business makes her accessible to a large variety of vendors to suite every bride's budget. She is the biggest sweetheart and really works to make your day spectacular! Marylen took care of every little detail before the big day and ensured that everything was flawless on the day of our wedding. She was, by far, the BEST money we spent and worth every single penny. I didn't have a care in the world on our big day and was able to enjoy everything to the fullest knowing, confidently, that she was taking care of everything and everyone at our wedding. She truly knows weddings and makes sure you're always happy :)

Marylen was AWESOME!!! She offered us excellent recommendations for vendors, helped coordinate the ceremony and reception, and made sure everything ran smoothly. She took care of every little detail the day of the wedding, even keeping my lip gloss in her pocket and re-applying it before pictures. I can't stress enough how much we loved having her as our wedding coordinator!

Marylen is the best wedding planner. She conducts herself professionally in all atmosphere’s, copes to timelines, budgets and attitudes. I don’t think our wedding would of happened if she hadn’t stepped in.

I used Marylen as a "day of" wedding planner. She was more than willing to help me several weeks before the big event. The day of our wedding I felt secure knowing that if something were to go wrong she would be there to fix it. You definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend her to future brides.
